There are Three Ways to Post, Update and Maintain Your Inventory on ProMusicFind.Com:
Whether you have a computer or not, listing your inventories on ProMusicFind.Com is easy. By entering the ProMusicFind.Com DEALER SYSTEM you can either use our DATA IMPORT SYSTEM or HAND ENTER INVENTORY SYSTEM. If you do not have a computer, then you could use our DATA ENTRY SYSTEM.
Using our DATA IMPORT SYSTEM* is as easy as attaching a file to an e-mail message. You can make changes to your inventory as often as you like and it costs you nothing!
If you can type, then you can use our HAND ENTER INVENTORY SYSTEM. Our system is designed to allow you to Hand Enter your inventory one item at a time. Everything is set-up so all you do is type in the item and click "enter".
Our system is also set-up so you can delete items from your inventory with a single click!
If you do not have a computer you can utilize our DATA ENTRY SYSTEM. ProMusicFind.Com can help enter your inventory into the system. You can fax, mail or call us with the necessary changes and, deletions are free.
General Rules for Listing Your Items on ProMusicFind.Com
The ProMusicFind.Com Dealer System
Each subscriber to ProMusicFind.Com has his or her very own Dealer System. The Dealer System is the hub of ProMusicFind.Com. In Your Dealer System you can do the following:
**Edit Store Information (the info buyers see on your contact information page and personal info for me - the administrator)
**Edit/Delete your inventory. Here you can browse through your inventory to locate an item you want to remove from the system or edit.
**Search Your Inventory. We have given each dealer a search engine that will search only his or her inventory. For those that have hundreds or thousands of items this is a useful tool. Once you locate the item you can then edit it or delete it from the system.
**Hand Enter Inventory. Here we give you the capabilities of entering items into the system one item at a time. For those times when you have a few additions, you could use this system.
**Import Inventory. Here you have the option to import your inventory off of your computer via a delimited-text file.
**View the Want List. When an end user or buyer does a search on ProMusicFInd.Com and the item is not in the system, they are given a chance to enter the item in a Want List. Dealers of ProMusicFind.Com can view the Want List. The item desired and how to make contact with the person wanting the item is listed on the Want List. Its an ongoing prospect list!
The ProMusicFind.Com Data Import System
Overview
If you have a computer, posting your inventories is as easy as sending e-mail.
On your computer, simply set-up an inventory in a database file or spreadsheet using fields corresponding to promusicfind.com's system. In our system it is necessary to have 8 fields for a musical instrument database and 9 fields for a record, CD, music, video, and book database, even if one or more of them is left blank.
After you have compiled your list of items in a database file you can send it through the Web to our database. Your first step must be to enter the Dealer System. You will be given the URL or Web Address to the Dealer System. You will have passwords and codes which will allow you to enter into your personal area of the system. Once you have entered you will come to a screen with instruction on how to import your file. You will be prompted to choose the file you would like to send. Browse through your directory to where you saved the file and attach it to the send window (like you are attaching a file to an e-mail message). The system will ask for several commands and then you send your file into the system.
You may either "Purge and Add" your inventory into the system. This will delete the inventory you already have in the system and add your new inventory. You may "Add" items to your inventory by only sending a file of additions into the system. Or, you may "Delete" items to your inventory by only sending a file of deletions into the system. You can make changes to your inventory as often as you like.
There are two database table in the ProMusicFind.Com system. The two database tables are formatted for 1) Musical Instruments, Gear, Equipment, parts, accessories, etc. (Instrument Table) and 2) Records, CD's, Music, Videos, Books, DVDs, 78, 45, Cassette, Posters, Apparel etc. (Music Table).
To utilize the Import System you would need to have your database or spread sheet formatted specifically for either table depending on what type of product you are selling.

The ProMusicFind.Com Hand Enter Inventory System
Here we give you the capabilities of entering items into the system one item at a time. You can use this system as opposed to using the Import System or for those times when you have a few additions, you could use this system.
The Hand Enter Inventory System is located in Your Dealer System. You choose which table you want to add your item to and a form is displayed on your screen. You can type in the corressponding information for eaxch field on this form. When you are done, click add item and your item is added to the system. It's easy!
If you need to delete an item out of the system you may also do this in Your Dealer System. You would pull up a list of your inventory, find the item you want to delete, put a chack in the corressponding check box and click delete. It's easy!
Our system is not limited for those that have computers and access to the Web. If you or someone you know that would like to use our service does not have a computer, we can help.
ProMusicFind.Com is cost effective way to bring your musical items to market on the Web and increase your call in traffic and mail order business. If you do not have a computer we can update and maintain your inventory for you.
For a nominal fee of .60 cents per item, we will data entry your items into a database and update your inventory on the ProMusicFind.Com system. If you need an item deleted, we will delete it free of charge.
